(MANSFIELD, TEXAS 2016/02/16) – Pulsar is proud to announce the release of the Apex XD75 3-6×52 and XD75A 3-12×52 thermal riflescopes, offering longer range capabilities for shooters. Engineered with advanced zeroing capabilities and 10 preloaded reticles, the newest Pulsar Apex thermal riflescopes offer stunning “white hot” and “black hot” visibility for a long list of applications. The XD75A features an LCD display along with a 1x-4x continuous zoom, while the XD75 units offer an OLED display and 2x digital zoom.
Ideal for law enforcement, hunting, and reconnaissance, the high thermal core resolution (384x288) and 50 hz frame rate in both new units contributes to a crisp, consistent image of faster-moving objects 1,750 yards away. Each model offers a continuous digital zoom for an extended range of magnification. The digital zoom’s picture-in-picture feature allows you to increase magnification around the reticle while the peripherals of the display maintain the base magnification for a wide field of view, delivering precision shooting and easier, consecutive follow-up shots

The Apex line offers one-shot zeroing with a freeze function, which takes an image of the target after firing to quickly zero the crosshairs to the firearm’s point of impact. Its internal dampening system keeps the thermal core stable up to 1,000 Gs of recoil, equivalent to a .375 H&H bolt-action rifle. Each model includes updatable software, ensuring continuous improvement of the Apex models with Pulsar’s performance updates.
Each model’s operating modes (Rocks, Forest and Identification) offer enhanced contrast, significantly improving rendering of hot object details. Users can choose from the automatic, manual or semi-automatic calibration modes, which calibrates the lens in just 1 to 2 seconds.
